a2i: 14 officials on OSD, 3-member committee formed for investigation
14 officers/consultants working under the Aspire to Innovate (a2i) program under the Information and Communication Technology Department have been directed to suspend them from their duties as investigation/further action is ongoing in view of various allegations against them. In addition, a three-member committee has been formed to investigate the complaints brought by various names and anonymously on social media recently against five officials working in the program. The committee has been asked to submit its inquiry report on the allegations within five working days.
This information was conveyed in an office order signed by Deputy Secretary of Information and Communication Technology Division Md. Zillur Rahman on Tuesday.
The officials/consultants of the a2i program who have been ordered to be suspended are: Policy Advisor Anir Chowdhury, E-Government Analyst Md Farhad Zahid Sheikh, Project Management Specialist Md Majedul Islam, HD Media Project Analyst Purobi Matin, Technology Analyst Md Hafizur Rahman, Capacity Development Specialist Manik Mahmood, Resource Mobilization Specialist Md Nasser Mia, DFS Specialist Md Tahurul Hasan, Solution Architecture Specialist Rezwanul Haque Jami, SPS Senior Consultant HM Asad-Uzzaman, E-Document Implementation Expert ATM Al Fattah, Senior Software Engineer Tanveer Quader Iman, Admin Consultant Md Omar Farooq and Procurement Senior Consultant Md Salahuddin, Muhammad Jasim Uddin, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, said that the Additional Secretary of Information and Communication Technology Department.
This committee was formed with Muhammad Mehdi Hasan as the president. Other members of the committee are a2i Program Joint Project Director Molla Mizanur Rahman and Information and Communication Technology Department Deputy Secretary Md Shahinur Alam.
